We like our Murals...

A beloved mural is sorely missed.

Sam Pelts just learned that the mural he did 10 years ago as a student at Warrenton High School had been unceremoniously painted over. The mural was designed to commemorate the old Warren County Courthouse and other historic sites like the Schowengerdt House and downtown Main Street buildings. It was commissioned by the Warren County Commissioners and researched with images from the Warren County Historical Society. 2 years of his work erased and the artist and community are shocked.
